      SCB Asset Management Company Limited would like to inform the unitholder that SCB Semiconductor (SCBSEMI) has been approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission Office on changing the name of the Master Fund’s underlying index, which is effective from 19 November 2025 onwards. SCBSEMI mainly invests in the investment units of the Master Fund, VanEck Semiconductor UCITS ETF having a policy to invest in equity securities that are components of the underlying index in order to provide investment returns before fees and expenses that closely track the index. However, the underlying index has been renamed per following details.  

      Such change is intended to reflect the addition of ESG factors in the securities selection process, while the index methodology remains unchanged. In addition, this change has no significant impact to the investment portfolio, risk and return of the Master Fund and SCBSEMI.
