Policy

SCBRMMLCA (the Fund) has the policy to focus on the investment in “SCB Machine Learning China All Share” (Master fund) managed by The Management Company. The Master fund invests in equities issued by Chinese companies using quantitative analysis and machine learning techniques developed by developed internally to perform security selection. The securities considered by the fund will be securities listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (H-Shares), Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges (A-Shares) and securities listed on various exchanges around the world that conduct business related to China. This may include investment units of mutual funds that have a policy to invest in such securities. In the even that a new stock exchange occurs in China or Hong Kong. The management company may also take the securities listed on the stock exchange into consideration. The Fund has an average net exposure in the master fund of the accounting year not less than 80% of the Fund Net Assets Value (NAV). Also, the Fund’s investment results in having an average net exposure relates to foreign risks for the accounting year not less than 80% of the Fund’s NAV. The Fund may invest in derivatives for the purposes of efficient portfolio management and/or risk management in order to generate higher returns and/or reduce the Fund’s expenses. The Fund may invest in derivatives for hedging against foreign exchange risk as deemed appropriate under prevailing market conditions at the Fund Manager’s discretion.
