Policy

The Fund mainly invests in investment units of foreign mutual funds such as CIS, ETF which invest in government bonds, private debt instruments, money market instruments, deposits, or deposits instruments equivalent offering aboard etc., with an adjustable investment proportion from 0% - 100% of the NAV depending on the fund manager’s discretion and as appropriate for the situation at each moment. The Management Company appoints BlackRock (Singapore) Limited to be an outsourced fund manager.
The Fund may invest in investment units of mutual funds under management of SCBAM not exceeding 100% of NAV.
The Fund may consider investing in derivatives with debt instruments, interest rates, foreign exchange rates, inflation indices, credit ratings, or credit events as underlyings for purposes of enhancing the efficiency of portfolio management and/or hedging. The Fund may hedge exchange rate risk which depends on fund manager’s discretion. Also, the Fund may invest in ETFs having leveraged or inverse management strategies or may invest in other foreign investment funds with similar characteristics that mainly invest in derivatives linked to debt instruments for purposes of portfolio management.
