The primary advantage of this change is to enhance portfolio management for the utmost benefit of unitholders. The Master Fund, BEA Union Investment Asia Strategic Growth Fund, is actively managed to achieve the return that reflects movements in the stock markets of the Asian region, aligning with SCBAO’s investment policy. The Master Fund intends to adopt a top-down approach to determine the portion of the portfolio which is to be allocated to each country in the region first and then applies fundamental analysis to select suitable investments within each country by focusing on companies which will provide above-average growth compared with other companies in the same sector or compared with the market as a whole.
