Notification of Changing SCBEMBOND’s Benchmark

SCB Asset Management Company Limited (SCBAM) as investment manager of SCB EMERGING MARKETS BOND FUND (SCBEMBOND), would like to inform about changing the benchmark in accordance with the investment policy of the Fund will be effective from August 15, 2016 onward, detail as follows:

JPM GBI-EM Global Diversified Index was adjusted with the capital of hedging against the exchange rate risk during a period of calculating the benchmark’s returns, according to the proportion of making hedging contracts not less than 90 percent, for calculating the returns in Thai Baht on the date of making the investment or the date of calculating the returns.
JPM GBI-EM Global Diversified Index was adjusted with the exchange rate to compare with Thai Baht on the date of making the investment or the date of calculating the returns, according to the proportion of which the contracts for hedging against the exchange rate risk are not made, not exceeding 10 percent.

JPM GBI-EM Global Diversified is adjusted with the capital of hedging against the exchange rate risk in order to calculate the returns in Thai Baht on the date of making the investment (50 percent); and adjusted with the exchange rate in order to compare with Thai Baht on the date of calculating the returns (50 percent).
